German Hightech Charitable Trust (GHC Trust) is proud to announce the successful organization of SEED Conclave 2026 (Sustainability, Energy, Environment & Development Conclave) at Sofitel Mumbai BKC on 30 May 2026. The conclave serves as a premier platform dedicated to advancing India’s commitment towards achieving Net Zero emissions by 2070.
The event is being organized with the support of eight leading Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and in partnership with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), Mumbai, the official Industry Support Partner. The conclave brings together over 100 industry experts including policymakers, industry leaders, sustainability experts, climate scientists, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and young innovators to discuss practical pathways toward a low-carbon and sustainable future.
SEED Conclave 2026 aligns with India’s Vision of net zero, 2070 and aims to foster collaboration between government, industry, academia and civic societies to accelerate the transition toward clean energy, green finance, best industry practices for a sustainable future.

The conference features an eminent lineup of speakers and subject matter experts:
- Pramod Marar, MD & CEO, Satin Finserv Limited, who set the context for the conclave and apprised the gathering on the opportunities in green financing.
- Padma Shri Dr. Sharad Kale, Former Scientist, BARC was virtually present and urged the audience to reduce food waste, segregate waste at source and recycle the household wet waste into organic compost.
- Dattatraya Patil, Chief General Manager, MAHAPREIT (Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited) apprised the gathering regarding the existing initiatives of the state Govt. and subsidies available in the state for implementing these initiatives through public private partnership.
- Sugata Dutta, Jt. Director Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, shared his perspectives towards Green Finance opportunities in India and his vision for a Green Bank to facilitate private investment into domestic, low carbon and climate resilient infrastructure, water and waste management
- Vibhay Kumar, Executive Director – ESG & Net Zero, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) shared his perspectives on the current challenges faced in the integration of Renewable power technology in the existing grid infrastructure.
- Nitin Sangle, CEO, Sunray Powered by Kosol Energy apprised the gathering on the highest standards followed at Kosol in the manufacturing of the solar panels and EPC projects thereby leading to long term project viability and favourable economics achieved through the highest possible energy generation & lowest degradation.
- Sandeep Goswami, CEO, SGA & Climate Scientist apprised the audience on the importance of using climate science as a sustainable service. A tool to derisk any physical assets or the existing infrastructure & supply chains, thereby safeguarding the financial investments from future climate calamities.
- CA Deepak Mundra, Founder SaveTrees Invitiative @digify mobile app shared a practical demonstration of his initiative i.e a networking App available for download on Android or iOS, using Ai for digitizing visiting cards and promoting sustainability through cardless networking.
German Hightech Charitable Trust, a non-profit organization has been actively promoting sustainable development, clean technologies, innovation, and global collaboration since its inception. Through SEED Conclave 2026, the Trust seeks to create a meaningful platform where stakeholders can exchange ideas, form strategic partnerships, and contribute actionable solutions to India’s sustainability journey.
Speaking on the occasion, the organizers emphasized that achieving Net Zero requires collective action from industry, government, financial institutions, innovators, and citizens. The conclave aims to translate commitments into practical initiatives that support economic growth while preserving environmental sustainability.
