Markolines Pavement Technologies Limited (BSE: 543364, NSE: MARKOLINES) has announced that it is exploring opportunities in the marine infrastructure construction and maintenance segment as part of its long-term growth strategy. The initiative reflects its intent to evaluate adjacent infrastructure opportunities where its engineering, construction and maintenance capabilities may be leveraged.
As part of this initiative, it is evaluating participation in bids and projects related to the construction and repair of jetties and associated marine structures, the revamping and modernization of existing jetty infrastructure, and the design, installation and maintenance of firefighting and safety systems for ports and dock facilities.
The company believes that the marine infrastructure sector offers opportunities that complement its existing expertise in specialized construction, rehabilitation, maintenance and asset management. It will continue to assess opportunities in the segment in line with its strategic growth objectives.
