AGI Infra Ltd. Receives GMADA License for ‘Utopia by AGI’ Group Housing Project, Marks Strategic Entry in New Chandigarh Market
AGI Infra Ltd. (BSE: 539042, NSE: AGIIL), a leading player specialized in residential and commercial real estate development, has announced that it has received License No. LDC-101/2026 dated March 31, 2026, from the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) for the development of its group housing colony, ‘Utopia by AGI’, marking the company’s maiden project in New Chandigarh. The license was received by the company on April 1, 2026.
The project will be developed on a land parcel measuring 10.26 acres in a premium residential area of New Chandigarh. ‘Utopia by AGI’ will offer a saleable area of approximately 31,93,697 square feet and will comprise 661 residential flats across multiple configurations, including 3BHK, 4BHK, and 5BHK units, along with thoughtfully planned amenities and conveniences for residents.
The project mix includes 189 units of 5BHK apartments, 252 units of 4BHK apartments, and 220 units of 3BHK apartments, taking the total inventory to 661 residential flats.
‘Utopia by AGI’ represents AGI Infra Limited’s strategic entry into the New Chandigarh micro-market and strengthens its residential project portfolio with a large-scale premium housing development.
Recently the Company invested Rs. 12 Crore in the first tranche out of total investment of approx. Rs. 30 Crore and acquired 60% stake in Worldnext Realty LLP.
Earlier, the company raised Rs. 75 Crore via QIP, which saw participation from multiple FPIs – Craft Emerging Market Fund PCC – Elite Capital Fund, Craft Emerging Market Fund PCC – Citadel Capital Fund, Beacon Stone Capital VCC – Beacon Stone 1, Astorne Capital VCC – Arven, Astorne Capital VCC – Alpha A2.
