ROTARIAN LAL GOEL MEETS MR DEEPAK AGARWAL, DIG, CISF, TO ADVANCE ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS AT MUMBAI AIRPORT

Mumbai, November 3, 2025 – Rotarian Lal Goel, Founder and Charter President of the Rotary Club of Organ Donation International and Chairman of the Organ Donation India Foundation & GYAN, met with Mr Deepak Agarwal, DIG, CISF, Mumbai Airport, to discuss implementing an organ donation awareness program for CISF personnel stationed at Mumbai Airport.
During the meeting, Rotarian Goel highlighted the critical need for organ donation awareness, noting that over 5 lakh people across India die annually while waiting for organ transplants. He emphasised that widespread awareness and education are essential to addressing this life-threatening gap.
Mr Agarwal commended Rotarian Goel’s dedicated efforts toward this humanitarian cause and pledged his full support for the initiative. The proposed awareness program aims to educate CISF personnel about the importance of organ donation and encourage them to become ambassadors for this life-saving cause.
Expressing his gratitude, Rotarian Lal Goel thanked Mr Deepak Agarwal for his warm reception and cooperation. He expressed optimism that the organ donation awareness program would contribute significantly to saving countless lives in the future.
