Mumbai, July 20, 2019: Driven by a mission to provide a home to homeless stray animals and drive responsible pet ownership, World For All along with Pedigree (the leading pet food brand of Mars India ) and METRO Cash & Carry launched a two day ‘Pet Adoption ’ in Mumbai on 20th and 21st July 2019. The Pet adoption drive was conducted at METRO Cash & Carry, Borivali and was attended by Mr Taronish Bulsara, Co founder & President, World For All Animal Care And Adoptions and Mr. Nitin Kulkarni, Director- Corporate Affairs Mars India. The Pet adoption drive received stupendous response from pet lovers and potential pet parents.
World For All has been actively promoting adoption program for the past few years. The adoption drive will further help create awareness on pets besides inform, educate and interact with potential pet parents who are keen to adopt Indian dogs as pets..
Taronish Bulsara, Co founder & President, World For All Animal Care And Adoptions says, “ Adoption of rescued animals is the way forward to building a society where humans and animals co-exist respectfully. If we each adopt in 1 community animals than the roads will be free from road kills. Studies also show that a child that grows up with pets develops a sense of responsibility and confidence thus having a positive impact on their personality. Growing up with pets also means that you will have stronger immunity when compared to a non-pet parent. Dogs and cats are also known to be therapeutic in the sense that having them around controls blood pressure, lowers the risk of depression and helps a person to cope up with the hectic and pressurizing lifestyle that we all are living in. Our mission is for people to be more aware about the benefits of adoption and also educate them on the right practices that will nature their relationship with their pets.
