March 31,, Mumbai: Make in India Foundation (MIIF) introduced the first version of MIIF Award for Corporate Excellence. The initiative aimed at recognizing the tremendous efforts made by various corporate entities during the year 2017.
Shri Ram Shinde, Hon’ble Minister for Water Conservation, Protocol, OBC Welfare and also Guardian Minister of Ahmednagar, presented the awards to corporates at the event held at Press Club Mumbai,
Speaking at the event, Shri Ram Shinde highlighted the “Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan” launched by the Maharashtra government with the aim to make Maharashtra a drought-free state by 2019. This novel initiative was commenced under the able guidance of Shri Devendra Fadnavis, chief minister of Maharashtra.
Shri Ram Shinde further shared his valued thoughts on Make in India initiative and how Maharashtra government through Jalyukt Shivar Abhyaan is supporting the cause.
In the first edition of MIIF Award for Corporate Excellence, 10 Indian corporates emerged as winners. Following is the list of award winners:
