Online sensation Lisa Mishra signs exclusively with VYRL Originals

film music talent. Lisa’s reprise version of Tareefan from the film, Veere Di Wedding led to a huge success by crossing millions of views across Instagram and YouTube. Her versatility in the genres of Rhythm & Blues and hip hop led to what ultimately became musical contributions in Grammy – winning album Coloring Book by Chance the Rapper and Emmy – nominated series Brown Girls. With a captive YouTube audience of over 170,000 subscribers on her channel, Lisa has created a space in everyone’s hearts with her melody and unique style.

Commenting on the announcement, Lisa Mishra shares “My passion for music has got me to where I am today. From teaching myself to sing and play guitar, to putting my spin on favourite tracks, I have always tried something innovative. Signing up with VYRL Originals for the music I do outside of films is definitely my first step towards achieving my dreams and creating a space for myself in the music industry.”
