Global Sai Temple Trustee Summit

Carry the message of Humanitarian Service and Integrity to the World……Venkayya Naidu

Shirdi : Shri Sai devotees should carry the message of humanitarian service and integrity given by Shri Saibaba to the World…” was the appeal made by Hon Vice President of India Mr. Venkayya Naidu to the global ensemble at Shirdi today.

             He was speaking while inaugurating the second Global Sai Temple Trustee Summit held on behalf of the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi. On this occasion Guardian Minister Prof. Ram Shinde, Leader of opposition Mr. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Sansthan Chairman Dr. Suresh Haware, Vice Chairman Mr. Chandrashekhar Kadam, Trustees S/Shri Bhausaheb Wakchoure, Advocate Mohan Jaykar, Pratap Bhosale, Trustee and Chirman Municipal Council Mrs. Yogita Shelke, Member of Parliament Mr. Dilip Gandhi and Mr. Sadashiv Lokhande, Chief Executive Officer of the Sansthan Mrs. Rubal Agrawal and others were present.

            For the Global Sai Temple Summit today, a total of around 2,000 Trustees with 1,028 arriving from Sai Temples from India and trustees from 19 Sai Temples from abroad were present. On this occasion “MY STAMP” Scheme as well as Annual Report of the Sansthan was also released at the hands of Mr. Naidu. 

            Speaking on the occasion Mr. Naidu said that Shri Saibaba has bestowed a huge energy to many through his work and thoughts. His message of love and affection is for connecting the people from heart to heart. If humans are loved without any discrimination, our lives could be full of faith and devotion superbly blended together. He said that he felt satisfied for being in Shirdi as inspiration from such thoughts is received from Shirdi.

        Vice President further said that India is truly a pious land. Many saints and sages have inspired our society with their great thoughts. “Service to humans is the service to the God” was the ideal they placed before the world through their immense work. The greatness of Indian culture resides mainly in such great thoughts. Our culture teaches us to love all the animals, birds and all living beings as also the nature. The same philosophy was propagated by Shri Saibaba. He also appealed that through the deliberations at the Summit there should be an effort for conservation of being Indian and Indian culture through the medium of exchange of positive experiences and concepts.

            Stating that the true devotion to Shri Saibaba is to serve the deprived and the needy, Mr. Naidu said that “Faith is trust and patience is restrain” was the mantra from Shri Saibaba. Instead of just showing sympathy for helpless people, the real prayer is in running forward to help them. Instead of getting absorbed in the pooja, you can achieve peace of mind through your consciousness, behavior and attitude for service. While the entire world is getting occupied by technological revolution, the place of a Guru who imbibes positive thoughts on life is most important.  

            Shri Saibaba was a Golabl Guru who gave the message of humanity. His thoughts consist of an impeccable blend of Hindu and Sufi thought processes. He gave a message of integrity to the World that was eminently suitable to the Indian Philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. He placed spirituality through his work. He gave a message to his disciples to go for freedom and service overcoming their wishes and aspirations. Mr. Naidu appealed that we should follow the message and sidelining all discrimination whatsoever, we should carry the message of inclusivity to the World provided by our ancestors.  

        In order to cast aside the hatred created in the society through the narrow mindedness, there is an imminent need for all of us to devote ourselves to humanitarian services. Indian culture teaches us to honor women and to encourage them for their prosperity. In order for the prosperity of New India, mr. Naidu said that he was confident that the Shri Sai devotees will carry and propagate the thoughts of equality and integrity through spiritual progress across the world. He appealed to the people that all of us should honor Mother, Motherland, Mother tongue, Guru and Nation and coming together carry the message of perennial values from Indian culture across the world.     

            In his opening remarks, Sansthan Chairman Dr. Suresh Haware said that the Sai Movement is the largest movement in the country. Along with Faith and patience, Shri Saibaba has also provided the technique for service. As on today there are 8,000 Sai Temples across India and 500 Sai Temples abroad. Through the medium of Shri Saibaba Samadhi Centenary Festival, Blood Donation Drive for daily collection of blood has been organized on behalf of the Sansthan at Shirdi on the lines of Hair Donation at Tirupati. On the 30th December this year we have organized a mega Blood Donation Camp at our Sai Temple, Shirdi. He appealed to all present to participate in this Mega Blood Donation Camp. At the same time we have requested all other Sai Temples in the country to organize Mega Blood Donation Camp at their respective Sai Temples.

            Speaking on the occasion Guardian Minister Prof. Ram Shinde said that the message of faith and patience has reached across the world from the pious land of Shirdi. Efforts are being made for acceleration of development of this religious place at the Government of India level as well as the State Government level. Shirdi Airport is being developed further and by the end of March next year, the facilities for night landing at Shirdi will be provided. This will connect Shirdi to the world.

            Mr. Vikhe Patil expressed his desire that through the medium of Sai Temples across the world Shri Saibaba’s message of integrity should be carried to the entire world. He said that Shri Saibaba gave a message of humanitarian services without discrimination in terms of caste and creed.   

            Srimati Agrawal welcomed the guests at the program and Sansthan Vice Chairman Mr. Chandrashekhar Kadam presented a vote of thanks.

            On this occasion Chief Post Master General, Mr. Harishchandra Agrawal, Divisional Commissioner mr. Mahesh Zagde, Special Inspector General of Police Mr. Krishnaprakash, Vinaykumar Choube, District Collector mr. Abhay Mahajan, Superintendent of Police Mr. Ranjankumar Sharma and others were present.
