DroneAcharya Signs MoU with D.Y. Patil International University for Establishing Drone Centre of Excellence and Providing Drone – Centric Courses

Pune, December 2023: DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited has solidified an alliance with D.Y. Patil International University, Akurdi, Pune, marking a pivotal moment in drone-centric education. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) ushers in a wave of opportunities for students, faculty, and aspiring technologists.

The collaboration entails an array of courses, encompassing DGCA certified drone pilot training, drone construction, GIS, Python programming, and their practical applications in Agriculture and Disaster Management. Notably, these courses not only benefit the 15,000 – strong university; they extend to non – university students as well.

Moreover, DroneAcharya is set to establish a Drone Centre of Excellence (CoE) on the DYPIU campus. “This strategic move intends to provide access to Drone technology in the campus, fostering an environment where students can integrate drones into ongoing and forthcoming projects. The CoE will serve as a crucible for collaborative research and development, plunging students into live drone projects to gain hands-on industrial insights”, adds Mr. Prateek Srivastava, Founder and Managing Director of DroneAcharya.
