Dhiraj Deshmukh, an entrepreneur who believes in business with social impact. Be it his public life as a young politician or his enterprises, Dhiraj believes that ‘social good is true profit’. Dhiraj hails from Latur in Maharashtra and jn all the businesses he runs, Dhiraj has ensured there is a strong connect with his roots in Latur.
Dhiraj recently launched ‘Love Organically’, a skin care brand along with his wife Deepshikha. ‘Love Organically’ is the country’s first range of skincare products for little ones and their families that are free from aggressive ingredients like sulphates, parabens and GMOs.
Dhiraj as co-founder of ‘Love Organically’ aims to make a real difference in the skincare world with the perfect synergy of ancient, time-honoured rituals and modern science. With regards to making the products commercially viable, right from ingredient sourcing to packaging the products, his efforts are dedicated towards implementing sensitive environmental practices. Our vision is to do something that is bigger than ourselves and be part of a movement where skincare goes beyond just feeling good, but also does good – for us and the earth. Every little thing we do here is straight from the heart.
As a politician, he constantly works with drought-affected farmers and it is his aim to continually strive to make the lives of farmers and children across Latur and the country better through fair trade, community initiatives and sustainable partnerships. As a small measure both Dhiraj and Deepshikha decided that a part of the profit from every product of ‘Love Organically’ be donated to ‘Snehwan’, a non-profit organization, that works to create an inclusive learning environment for marginalized children of drought affected farmers or those that belong to poor families.
Dhiraj intends to bring together the very best in organic skincare through ‘Love Organically’ by economically sourcing the best botanical ingredients – from local farms to scientific laboratories and even international pastures as well as ensuring efficacy & packaging of the products making the process of providing ‘innocent skin nutrition’ rewarding.
