India as a country, has been dominated by the love for Chai for years. People bonded over Chai at various Chai Addas, small tapris, Irani Cafes; but, as time passed by and with the coming up of multiple coffee chains, Chai Addas lost its essence and Chai was reduced to being just a beverage rather than a bonding catalyst. Chaayos has opened its new outlet at Churchghate, bang opposite the railway station and is attracting huge crowds due to the excellent quality and wide range of value for money dishes and teas.

To fill the void of Chai Addas, Chaayos came into picture in 2012, founded by Nitin Saluja and Raghav Verma. It was founded to disrupt the Indian market, which consumed 30 cups of tea for a single cup of coffee but lacked a home-like chai experience. Since the first store in 2012, Chaayos has been continuously experimenting and providing varied experiences with chai. Over time, Chaayos has made its presence felt in major cities like Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chandigarh.

Driven by Technology

Chaayos has time and again presented innovative ways to consume Chai, especially when the world was hit by the pandemic. Chai Monk at Chaayos outlets, and Chaayos Dining App not just made it easy for people to get their perfect cup of Chai, but ensured that everything is safe and contactless.

Every time a Chai is ordered, Chai Monk an IoT-enabled brewer starts preparing Chai that can be made to order in 80,000 different ways and also, reduces the time taken to make a cup by nearly a third to 2.25 minutes

Chaayos also has a contactless dining app for safe and contactless dining and takeaway experience.
