Cera Wb. Washroom Design Challenge 2018 was conceived as an all India washroom design competition for architects and interiors designer aged below 40, the first ever in India to focus only on washroom. The focus of this challenge was to design “‘Luxury washroom for residences’ and ‘Washrooms for affordable housing’”. Total 19 participants made it to the grand finale who were judged by the national jury comprising of some of the eminent names like renowned Architect Nitin Kilawala, Mumbai & Architect Sharukh Mistry, Bengaluru to name a few in the architecture fraternity.
Mr Mano Kurrien Jacob from Cochin, was the 1st prize winner who won a trip to Salone, Milan, 2018 with 3 night’s stay and travel. Ms Antara Mali from Bengaluru was the 2nd runner up in the category of luxury washrooms for residences won Rs 50,000 in cash and the 3rd position was bagged by Mr SubhodeepMaji from Kokata who received Rs 25000/- from Kolkata. Prajon Nair from Bengaluru was given 2nd prize for his designs in the category “washrooms in affordable housing”.
