Mumbai: World No.1 wrestler Deepak Punia and Indian freestyle Wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya have joined hands with Birbal sports who will exclusively manage and promote these athletes. This comes after their very successful run during the UWW World Wrestling Championships at Nur Sultan where they bagged the silver and bronze respectively. Deepak is the first Indian in 18 years to win a Junior World Championship title. He won the Cadet world championship in 2016 and missed out on a bronze in the junior worlds in 2017. In 2018 he won the silver medal in Slovakia. Meanwhile, Ravi Kumar Dahiya claimed a bronze medal on his debut World Championships by stunning Asian Champion Reza Atri Nagarchi of Iran. Both the players have secured their berth for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and have a fighting chance at securing a medal.
