ROTARIAN LAL GOEL URGES KARNATAKA HOME MINISTER TO INTRODUCE XENOTRANSPLANTATION RESEARCH AT SRI SIDDHARTHA MEDICAL COLLEGE, TUMKUR

Tumkur, 2025 – Rotarian Lal Goel, Founder and Charter President of the Rotary Club of Organ Donation International and Chairman of the Organ Donation India Foundation & GYAN, has called upon Dr G. Parameshwara, Hon’ble Home Minister of Karnataka and Chancellor of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (SSAHE), to initiate xenotransplantation research at Sri Siddhartha Medical College.
During his inaugural address at the National Conference for Medical Undergraduates & Postgraduates, Dr Parameshwara emphasised the growing importance of medical research across Karnataka’s medical institutions. He announced that Sri Siddhartha Medical College & Hospital, Tumkur, will formally begin advanced medical research initiatives this year.
