ROTARIAN LAL GOEL ADDRESSES ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS PROGRAM IN MUMBAI

Mumbai, October 31, 2025 –Rotarian Lal Goel, Founder and Charter President of the Rotary Club of Organ Donation International and Chairman of the Organ Donation India Foundation & GYAN, served as Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker at an Organ Donation Awareness Program held at The Club, Mumbai.
In his comprehensive presentation, Rotarian Lal Goel addressed critical aspects of organ donation in India, including:
- The opt-in versus opt-out systems
- Common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation
- Infrastructure challenges and awareness gaps
- Religious misinformation
- The Green Corridor initiative
- Living donor and brain death donation protocols
The event was organised by the Rotary Club of Mumbai Horizons in association with the Rotary Club of Organ Donation International.
Rotarian Lal Goel was introduced by Rtn Ramesh Nagoriji and welcomed by Inspire President Rtn Sunil Bhandari and Rtn Shivani Bhatia, Inspire Secretary of the Rotary Club of Mumbai Horizons.
Following his address, Rotarian Lal Goel engaged in an interactive Q&A session, responding to numerous queries from attendees.
The program drew participation from Inspire Secretary Rtn Ruby Agarwal of the Rotary Club of Organ Donation International and members of the Rotary Club of Mumbai Horizons.
