Unprecedented Industry Response Expected

Mumbai: PLASTIVISION INDIA 2020, held at Bombay Exhibition Center, NESCO, Mumbai from 16th to 20th January 2020, organized by All India Plastic Manufacturer’s Association (AIPMA), the largest non-profit apex body, was inaugurated by Shri Kashi Nath Jha, Joint Secretary, DCPC, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, GOI. The plastic industry is continuously striving towards Hon PM Narendra Modi’s vision of creating a $5 trillion economy. In that, the plastic industry is one of the highest contributor to the economy as well as Indian job creation.

PLASTIVISION INDIA 2020, India’s largest trade show for plastic products, bringing together exhibitors and visitors and showcasing new technologies and innovations in the plastic industry. It witnessed mega participation of over 250,000 visitors from all over the world and registered over 1,500 exhibitors. Leaders from across the world including Africa, SAARC, ASEAN countries, etc. participated at the ElitePlus – PVI 2020 Knowledge Terminal, a business platform that is expected to result in business interactions that look to generate business to the tune of Rs. 2,500+ crore! For the first time, at PVI, the industry will witness unprecedented levels of overseas buyers and exhibitors. One attraction is India – China B2B summit, with over 400 participants. A staggering 26%+ exhibitors at PVI 2020 are showcasing their expertise for the first time ever. 125,000+ online visitors with 700+ registrations for the conferences and 13,000+ visitors at the pre-event roadshows speaks volumes about success of the event.

According to Mr. Kailash B Murarka, Chairman, Plastivision India 2020, “This trade show connects the business community and corporates with government decision makers and facilitates launch of several new products and technologies under one roof.” PVI 2020 offers many unchartered opportunities – an expansive pavilion on bioplastics, a never-before-seen showcase on the impact of Industry 4.0, recent advances in energy saving trends, machines (processing and recycling) live in concert – for growth within plastics and beyond.
