Written by Paro Anand and Swedish author Örjan Persson, it is a one-of-a-kind young-adult graphic novel. “2” is the story of an Indian boy, Ganga, and a Swedish girl, Helga, and how the pair meet on their maiden visit to Goa. It is a first visit for both these teens and although they are strangers, their destiny become tied with one another in a strange and magical way. Under the sea, living the fantastical life of dolphins, it is a story of reincarnation, the cycle of birth and death. Diversity is the name of the game, right from the creators to the characters. The story plot revolves around topics of bullying and finding strength.
Author Paro Anand, often described as a fearless writer and a performance storyteller with a big heart- http://paroanand.com/. She is the winner of the Bal Sahitya Puraskar –the author of 26 books, including plays, short stories, novellas and novels. Her work has been recognized locally as well as internationally.
