Kalki Fashion wins infringement lawsuit against Kalki Trendz of Surat

Mumbai, November 25, 2022: Kalki Fashion, a prominent luxury ethnic wear brand moves Bombay High Court over trademark infringement, against Kalki Trendz, a Surat-based company. Kalki Fashion was founded 15 years ago and has become a household name in the fashion and entertainment world. Kalki Fashion recently discovered that Kalki Trendz, was not only copying the famous Kalki Fashion brand name but also selling and marketing under the same name.
Delhi based advocate Namrata Pahwa is the advisor and legal counsel representing Kalki Fashion and was able to get an ex-parte ad interim injunction order by Justice Chagla. Kalki Trendz has agreed to retract all its trademark registrations from the IP Registry and is also going to completely re-do its branding so as to avoid any infringement.

With sheer determination and hard work, we have established our brand in the fashion world. Designs, copyrights, and piracy prohibitions is something that all the companies need to take very seriously in the times ahead. We won’t bear if anyone is using our brand name to sell their products. We will continue to present our unique and premium brand to our customers across the country and world.”
