Infibeam Avenues Announces Rights Issue to Fuel AI Innovation, Strengthen Subsidiary Growth, and Accelerate Strategic Expansion

Infibeam Avenues Limited (BSE: 539807, NSE: INFIBEAM), India’s leading digital payments and e-commerce technology platform, has announced a proposed rights issue of up to ₹700 crore, aimed at accelerating its growth across strategic technology and digital platforms.

The net proceeds from the issue will be primarily used to fund investments in its key subsidiaries—Infibeam Projects Management Pvt. Ltd., Nueromind Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and Rediff.com India Ltd.—as well as to support strategic acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

A substantial portion of the proceeds, approximately ₹294 crore, will be directed towards Nueromind Technologies for the development of advanced AI infrastructure and proprietary agentic AI platforms, including next-generation reasoning models. This investment will position the company at the forefront of applied artificial intelligence, particularly in fintech and enterprise automation.

Infibeam Projects Management will receive ₹69.84 crore to prepay outstanding loans, enhancing financial flexibility and reducing debt burden. Rediff.com India Ltd., acquired in 2024, will see an infusion of ₹87.66 crore to strengthen its digital and payment ecosystem, with focused spending on marketing, technology upgrades, and recruitment to re-establish Rediff as a modern AI-integrated digital brand.

In addition, Infibeam intends to deploy a portion of the proceeds towards potential acquisitions of emerging businesses and technologies aligned with its long-term vision. These may include proprietary platforms in AI, fraud analytics, data infrastructure, and conversational interfaces, both in India and overseas.
