Godrej Process Equipment aims to double its Equipment share in Green Hydrogen business over the next 5 Years

Mumbai, 1st August 2023: Godrej & Boyce, the flagship company of the Godrej Group, announced that its business Godrej Process Equipment, in line with the government’s push for more sustainable energy production, is eyeing to double its Process Equipment share in the Green Hydrogen space by FY29. India’s growing commitment to expedite the adoption of green hydrogen and achieve its ambitious goal of net-zero carbon emissions, drive towards a more sustainable and eco-friendly economy has furthered the company’s ambitions in this area.

Over the last few years, India has emerged as a key player in the global shift towards Green Hydrogen. The country’s National Green Hydrogen Mission envisions developing a green hydrogen production capacity of at least 5 million metric tons per annum by 2030. In line with this vision, Godrej Process Equipment is leveraging its capabilities and expertise to support the Green Hydrogen revolution through related projects and strategic investments. The company has already successfully supplied equipment globally for Blue Hydrogen projects and received orders to supply critical Heat Exchangers for a Green Hydrogen project in the Middle East.
