Mumbai: People say that food is our common ground, a universal experience that binds us all together. And nothing amplifies this experience better than food cooked with ample love and served with gracious care. FUU QIN is the right place to be that promises to whip up the best of modern cooking that Mumbai has ever seen, showcased with utmost thoughtfulness and love – to deliver a soiree that will be etched in your memories forever.
Nestled in a quaint setting amidst the bustling pathways of Juhu, Akshay Arora’s latest venture Fuu Qin is an amalgamation of dewy pastels – millennial pinks, vibrant greens and subtle blues ready to make any post Instagram worthy in a heartbeat.
The walls are splattered with an abundance of plants and the quirky neon quotes add an element of fascination, a duet perfect to provide that much needed breather from the concrete jungle outside. Designed with an aim to provide the best of personalized culinary experience to its guests, Fuu Qin features cosy seating options and an open kitchen, allowing for the chefs to interact and the customers to enjoy their meal without the chatter of endless crowds around.
A step above from the rest, Fuu Qin strongly believes in making everything from scratch in house, right from the Mayonnaise to all the other sauces. Probably one of the only few places that bakes and makes all their bread, Fuu Qin assures airy and fluffy buns and baos, every time. By adding probiotics, sourcing only the best of meats and organic produce and incorporating artisanal cheese instead of commercial options, the restaurant aims to further add in nutritional value while retaining natural flavours of the ingredients. What’s more, the restaurant also vows to distribute any additional food from the day to the needy, feeding as many stomachs as they can.
The refreshingly contemporary menu consists of sliders, baos and desserts guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds. With crowd favourites ranging from Tempura Koliwada with a touch of traditional spices, Buttermilk Chicken placed in between a black charcoal bun and Sea Bass Slider with jalapeno black cheddar mayo to Avocado Sourdough, Vegan Slider and Japanese Style Katsu Slider in homemade brioche bun, the menu has something for every palate and liking.
