‘Angriya Sets Sail on its First Voyage from Mumbai to Goa

Angriya, the first ever premier passenger cruise from Mumbai to Goa, set sail on October 20th. Angriya, named after the first Maratha Naval Admiral, Kanhoji Angre had a prestigious flag off by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis along with wife, Amruta Fadnavis and Union Minister for Road Transport, Highway and Shipping, Nitin Gadkari, in the presence of Shri Sanjay Bhatia, Shri Subhash Desai, Shri Yashodhan Wanage among others. The event started with inaugurating the Domestic Cruise Terminal at the Mumbai Port. A welcome speech was given by all the Dignitaries followed by a vote of thanks by Deputy Chairman. The cruise departed from the Mumbai port after paying a massive tribute to Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre. The seventh descendent Shri Raghuji Raje Angre was felicitated on this occasion. With a cultural heritage within its wings, the cruise endeavours to give an opportunity to party as well as enjoy a true sea cruise experience like never before.
