Dr. Cyres K. Mehta Becomes First Indian Ophthalmologist to Deliver Prestigious Benedetto Strampelli Medal Lecture in Rome
Dr. Cyres K. Mehta, Director of Dr. Cyres K. Mehta’s International Eye Centre and a leading Indian ophthalmologist, was honored with the prestigious Benedetto Strampelli Medal Lecture by the 150-year-old Società Oftalmologica Italiana (SOI).
Prof. Dr. Mehta delivered the high-honour keynote at the SOI Congress in Rome. His lecture focused on managing complications in hard cataracts and complex surgical situations, solidifying his reputation as a global leader in refractive and cataract innovation. Dr. Cyres Mehta is the only Indian doctor to be recognized with this most respected accolade in Italian ophthalmology
