3rd list of the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) 2024

3rd list of nominated films in 6 categories for JIFF is out.
In the third list, the jury members selected 36 films from 5 countries out of 257 films from 15 countries.
JIFF will be organized in a different style in February – Hanu Roj
This year JIFF is going to take place on 9th to 13th February 2024.
Jaipur, 1 January 2024: The Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) 2024 organizing committee is pleased to announce the 3rd list of nominated films for the festival. For third list, festival office received 257 films from 15 countries. After careful consideration, jury members have selected 36 films from 5 countries for the festival.
JIFF Founder Director Hanu Roj said that JIFF is a prestigious event that celebrates the art of cinema and recognizes the contributions of talented filmmakers, actors, and producers. We are thrilled to have received such a diverse range of films from around the world, and we believe that the nominated films represent the best of contemporary cinema.
To date, no film festival in the world has included more full-length feature fiction films than JIFF.
JIFF Founder Director Hanu Roj said that film lovers will get to see very special films from across the country and the world in this February. This time, so far, there have been 62 full length feature fiction films and 26 full length documentary feature films nominated in the world’s largest competitive film festival. Till date, such a large number of full-length feature fiction films have not been included in any film festival in the world. These include world premieres, Indian and Rajasthan premieres. This year, cinema from Rajasthan has been included in large numbers. Apart from this, the audience will also get to see short fiction films, animation films, songs, web series and mobile films.
Hanu Roj said that in the first list released in November for the JIFF 2024, 157 films from 29 countries were selected and in the second list released in December, 62 films from 14 countries were selected. So far, out of 2271 films received from 62 countries, 255 films from 37 countries have been nominated including third list. The fourth list of nominated films and the festival program will be released on January 21, 2024.
The festival is scheduled to take place from February 9th to February 13th, 2024 in Jaipur, India. Along with film screenings, International Co-Production Meet, workshops, seminars and celebrity meets will also be organized during the festival.
JIFF Spokes Person Rajendra Bora informed that in third list out of selected films under 6 categories include 10 Feature Fiction Films | 7 Documentaries Feature Films | 10 Short Fiction Films | 5 Short Documentary Films | 1 Web Series and 3 Songs.
