Premal Badiani designs have always been unconventional with a touch of elegance. Her design for Manushi Chhillar, Miss World 2017, was no exception. The design represents grace, boldness and femininity. An off-shoulder style pale purple evening gown will accentuate the collarbones while creating a soft floor length drape. With texture that will create a mesmerizing effect on the outfit – the pearl hand beading, intricate embroidery and embellishment in shades of silver combined and the delicate placement of lavender petals over a sheer flowy fabric left everyone awestruck. Premal Badiani, has glorified the Indian flag globally, being the only Indian designer to receive a standing ovation for her spectacular collection at New York Fashion Week that saluted breast cancer survivors.
Premal Badiani has been an activist of social causes based on her belief in giving the world a perspective that is beyond just creating outfits. In her message to the women she adds “We must believe in our uniqueness and abilities. There will be times when our morals, knowledge and determination will be tested but we cannot stop believing that each one of us is an agent of change that has the power to transform the world”
