Canon India takes their online photography masterclasses to the next level by going regional

NATIONAL, May, 2020 – In one of its kind initiative, Canon India has expanded its digital masterclass series to regional markets and will be organising sessions in regional languages. Taking the online masterclasses to the next level, Canon has also introduced webinars on cinematography for filming and videography professionals. These masterclasses are curated in closed association with some of the industry’s best talents.
With its second leg of online masterclasses starting May 01st, Canon India aims at reaching out to photography enthusiasts across the country by adopting a hyperlocal approach of conducting webinars in regional languages. The registration links and T&Cs for the webinars will be available on Canon India’s social handles.
The regional language webinar series is a thoughtful attempt by Canon India, to build greater brand recall amongst the audience by giving them an opportunity to have professional guidance on photography from the leading photographers in the country. The webinars will cover varied genres of photography, filmmaking, editing & post production.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. C Sukumaran, Director, Consumer System Products & Imaging Communication Products highlighted that, “We have received an overwhelming response from the consumers for our first set of online masterclasses. Based on the response and in order to cater to more audience, we adopted a strategic approach to go hyperlocal and conduct webinars in regional languages. Moreover, we have a strong presence in the regional markets as well and therefore, with the second phase of the webinars, our focus is to reach out to the diverse range of consumers across regions. We are positive that the online masterclasses in regional languages will be appreciated by the audience, thereby helping the budding photographers and professionals to polish their skills and pursue their long-procrastinated passion for photography, during the nationwide lockdown.”
The online masterclasses are targeted towards photography and videography enthusiasts, professional photographers and film & photography students. Each class is being hosted by Canon Ambassadors, sharing in depth knowledge pertaining to their genre of specialized photography. The webinars would cover a wide range of topics such as Photographers Guide to Creative Lighting, Lens Understanding, and Cinematic Videos from EOS, Cinematic Videos from EOS, Equipment Selection Guide for Wildlife Photography and many more.
