Record set for ‘Maximum Students Reciting All Elements of Periodic Table in Forward and Reverse Order’
Mumbai, Thursday, February 2025: Today, the record for reciting all 118 elements of the periodic table in both forward and reverse order has been set by the students of Excellent Classes, located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. A total of 40 students successfully recited all periodic table elements consecutively.
The feat held at Kohinoor City Club House in Kurla West aimed to test and enhance students’ knowledge and memory of chemical elements and their arrangement on the periodic table.

Ms. Kashmira Mayank Shah, Adjudicator, India Book of Records, said, “We are impressed by the feat of the students. Excellent Classes has made a great initiative to improve/train the memory power of students and breaking the myth that great memory is a skill that children are born with, and that memory is a skill which everyone can learn.”
To achieve this feat, the students were mentored by Limca Book of Records Holder and Mind Guru Mr. Suresh Sharma, who is also a member of Excellent Educational Trust.

Dr. Jamil Ahmed Khan, Director, Excellent Classes, said, “Memory Guru Suresh Sharma has been an invaluable mentor to our students, and we are grateful for his expertise and guidance. His innovative teaching methods and techniques have helped our students to master the periodic table and achieve this remarkable feat. We are proud to be a part of this historic event and look forward to setting a new record.”
Dr. Khan further added, “We believe that every student should be trained in the art of memory enhancement, as it makes study simple and fruitful. Memory is the key to unlocking a student’s full potential, and we are committed to helping schools and students achieve their goals through our memory enhancement services.”
The Excellent Education Trust’s memory enhancement services are designed to help students improve their memory, concentration, and retention skills, leading to better academic performance and a stronger foundation for future success. “We are excited to share our expertise with schools and students, and we look forward to helping them achieve their goals,” added Dr. Khan.
The event was witnessed by a representative from the India Book of Records, who verified the record and awarded the certificate to the institute.
