सक्षम 2024-25 (संरक्षण क्षमता महोत्सव)

सक्षम 2024-25 (संरक्षण क्षमता महोत्सव) is an important national program initiated by Government of India for energy security, sustainable development and environment protection of our country.
The ultimate goal of the program is to curb wasteful expenditure on fossil fuel, reduce the growing burden on foreign exchequer and protect the environment from the adverse effect of Green House Gases emanating from burning of fossil fuels.
Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas and State Level coordinators of Oil Industry take up various initiatives with the active involvement / support from the concerned State Government to spread mass awareness. Oil Marketing Companies (OMC’s) have been in the forefront to create mass awareness towards conservation of petroleum products, promoting fuel-efficient equipment and helping the government in proposing policies and strategies for petroleum conservation.
With the same earnest सक्षम (संरक्षण क्षमता महोत्सव) 2024-25 will be organized during 14th Feb, 2025 to 28th Feb, 2025, with a tagline Cleaner Environment through Green and Clean Energy (हरित एवं स्वछ ऊर्जा अपनाएं, पर्यावरण को स्वछ बनाएँ) all over the country.
From 14th Feb, 2025 to 28th Feb, 2025, Oil Marketing Companies (OMC’s) will conduct various activities across the state to create awareness about conservation and encourage behavioral changes for sustainable development and environment protection
As part of this, Oil Industry in Maharashtra is organizing Inaugural function on 14th Feb, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Y.B Chavan Centre, Rangswar Hall, Opp. Mantrayala, Mumbai – 400032.
Various activities to be done during fortnight like Group Talks/ Debates for School & College Students, Graffiti/ Wall Painting Competition in Colleges, Fuel Efficient Driving Competition, Article Writing, Press Conferences & Talk Show in TV/Radio.
During SAKSHAM campaign, OMC’s will reach out to various mass segments such as School Children, Youths, LPG users, Drivers/Fleet Operators, Industry Personnel/Workers, Farmers, Residential Societies, Gram Panchayats, NGOs, etc. with various fuel conservation activities to propagate awareness about the importance, benefits and methods of fuel conservation and also to promote adoption of fuel-efficient technologies and practices.
